Thursday morning (and back to work.. blah), I woke up to a beautiful, pink sky. Like in Cabo, this sunrise looked like a sunset. It was jaw-dropping. Gorgeous. And totally worth waking up for.
I went to work 8-12p and then 3-5p. After work, we showered and got ready for a Matt Costa concert at Surfer [the bar] at Turtle Bay on the North Shore! We got VIP tickets, so front row seats! 2 free drinks! And a meet and greet!
All of the drinks were named after North Shore surf spots.
We cannot even begin to elaborate on how FREAKING annoying the drunk beezies to our left were OR how FREAKING stupid the douche B’s were to our right. Trevor and I had to put on our metaphorical blinders and focus on the show despite how FREAKING irritating people are. So besides drunk A-holes, the concert was uh-moz-ing.
You can totally hear people talking over his performance.. Bust.
Meet and greet! He’s a pretty chill guy. And while speaking to him, Jack Johnson walked out from backstage and exited a side door! Apparently they played TOGETHER at The Republik the night after.. DANGIT!
