Farewell Dinner

T and Alex took Michael out to surf Sunday morning. I sat out on the beach, tanned, and watched the boys shred ;)

Michael caught a couple waves. I saw with my own eyes! But we didn’t catch it on the GoPro..

When Michael got out, I jumped in and caught the rest of it.

Michael’s window art. Apparently he thought he surfed ALL the waves and that Alex, Trevor, and I sat on our boards all day :)

We started a new puzzle.

Earlier that morning, T took a wave that would lead to his ultimate demise (his words), a foot full of urchin spines. He lost his board in the tidepools. And upon retrieving it, his foot slipped out of his sandal and hit a crevice full of urchins. As stubborn as Trevor was to surf, he didn’t treat his foot immediately. Instead, went back out to surf and would deal with the spines later. Unfortunately he had to soak his foot in vinegar and pick each individual spine (total of 10!) out of his foot.

We had one last dinner together at Casa Tortuga before my family went back to the mainland.

Still working on those spines…
