We promised ourselves to wake up and be on the road by 6:00 am. We missed our scheduled take-off by an hour.
Our last minute purchase – worth it.
Our first stop before the Road to Hana (or as our cd stated, R2H), somewhere would could watch the surf.. We are DYING to get back in the water.
The first official stop, Millennium Legacy Trail Monument.
The first official MISadventure: Trevor asked me to look towards the back of the car. There was a rather large stowaway gecko clinging for life on the window. We were about to stop when he vanished! Let go. Gave up. Flew away? So, I took this photo to remember the sweet, little gecko incident.
Views along the way.
Our next stop, the Garden of Eden Arboretum. I love the blue ocean. I love the green grass. I love flowers. I love nature. So, I looooove arboretums.. in HI.
The Jurassic Park rock.
The Haipua’ena Falls from the arboretum.
Being cute :)
Peacocks enjoyed the grounds.
We had a great time – minus the mosquitos!
The entrance to the Haipua’ena Falls we saw from above.
One the side of the road.
Love this weirdo.
