Phillips Ohana: Day Three

I’m a little behind in posting but I’ve been enjoying my time with family, my brothers, and Trevor. We had such a good time together. I wish they didn’t have to leave.

Anyways, Friday we woke up early and explored the tie pools in front of the cottage.

We named these fish that were protecting their reef “killer whale fish.”

Michael sat it what looked to be an opening of a cave.

Later, Trevor and I went to pick up Alex at HNL while my parents and Michael relaxed on the beach outside our place. Because we played in the tide pools a little longer than expected, we were rushed in picking out a lei. The airport was out of manly leis so Trevor bought him the girliest lei there – pink, strong smelling plumerias :) Unfortunately, Alex did not come through the same sliding doors as my parents and Michael. We found him circling the luggage claim and reunited there.

We took Alex to Lanikai Juice and brought back acai bowls for the family. Luckily, I was able to rent 2 kayaks for free from my old work, Kailua Sailboards and Kayaks. Mom and Dad and Michael and Trevor paddled around for awhile.

That night, Trevor and I look them to First Friday in China Town. We took family photos before we left.

We took them to Pho restaurant for dinner. It was super tasty.

It rained that night so we didn’t visit that many art galleries. But we had a good time :)
